ELDERDAY CENTER MISSION STATEMENT

Elderday Center is committed to providing quality day services and promoting independence for older adults and providing support and education for their caregivers.

Traci Eggleston, MSW:  Traci is Elderday Center's Executive Director. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's degree in social work with a specialization in gerontology and a certificate in marketing. She brings with her an extensive work history including healthcare, marketing and social services. Traci is committed to giving back to those who have made a difference in our community through the quality services that Elderday provides. 

Kathy Hanlon, LCSW: Kathy holds a Master's Degree in Social Work. Kathy has an expansive knowledge of mental health and older adults. She runs four caregiver support groups for caregivers in Kane County and provides individual counseling for caregivers at no cost due to a special grant from the state of Illinois.

Barb Rittmueller, RN: Barb has been serving the clients at Elderday Center for years. She brings with her a great sense of humor and dedication to our clients. Barb carefully monitors our program participants' health through blood pressure and weight checks, medication management, and communicating with health professionals. 

Sandy Zenz, RN: Sandy is another one of our valuable nurses. Sandy serves seniors in Kane and DuPage Counties. She is known for her great smile and compassionate nature. Sandy's versatile training serves our seniors well as she is very knowledgeable about senior health issues.

Heather Knight: Heather is Elderday's talented administrative assistant. Her attention to detail continues to be an asset to our agency. Heather handles billing, provides administrative support, and is dedicated to making Elderday the best agency it can be.

Sean Kelly: Sean is Elderday's Lead Activity Aide. He holds a Food Management Certification, Program Assistant Certification, CPR Certification and has a CDL liscense to drive Elderday's bus. Sean has a special passion for our older adults.

Stephanie Henkel: Stephanie is one of our valuable activity aides. She has been with us for approximately 6 years. She is CPR certified and has worked previously as a C.N.A.

Kahina Jarrett: Kahina's kindness and laugh are loved by our clients. She enjoys spending time with our clients and is extremely patient and creative. One of Kahina's unique talents is that she is a certified Zumba instructor. Our client's love it when she leads exercise!

Megan Schaaf, MSW, LSW: Elderday is excited to welcome our newest team member, Megan Schaaf, to the Elderday family. Megan has a master's degree in social work and previous experience working at an adult day program. She is looking forward to spending more time with the participants here at Elderday and brings with her a wide array of expertise.

Shirley Martin, RN: Shirley serves as an activity aide and  alternate nurse with Elderday Center. She has a great interest in the well-being and personal histories of our clients.  

Angela Lempke, B.A.: Angela is one of our full time activity aides. Angela has a bachelor's degree in Art History. She offers her artistic and hospitality talents to Elderday Center. She is also CPR certified and has a Food Management Certication.

Sheila Evans: Sheila has been a volunteer at Elderday Center for over a year. We are pleased to welcome her to our Elderday family. Sheila brings with her a love for our clients, positive spirit, and dedication to excellence.
